QuestionHello, im a 23 years old african american in Tampa, Florida. I have grown fond of Brazil particularly Rio De Janeiro and Im thinking of visiting real soon. I wanted to ask you a few questions about Brazil, Im single but I wanted to meet a nice Brazilian women here do you think is the best place to find a young nice Brazilian women that’s interested in young black American men? I’ve seen the porn and all the internet articles of how Brazil seems to be a sex paradise, is it really like that? Are Brazilian women color blind? Are they easy to approach? I also wanted to know how bad do you think the HIV rate is in Rio? Is it hard to find a good single women in Rio that’s a Christian in church? Ive also been thinking of moving to Rio, my plan is to have rental properties in America all with property managers and use that income to live in Rio, Ill have my money direct deposit to my bank account overseas. Is this a good plan? Ever heard of anything like this? Are there a lot of Americans in Rio?
AnswerHello Ishmell,
Brazil, and Rio, has a lot of African descendents and Brazilians don't have the kind of color discrimination that you find in US.
I think your financial approach is good. Keep a steady source of income from US and enjoy life in Brazil. It is not easy to get a job and work permission in Brazil.
There are a lot of "American" churches in Rio (check a local phone book) where you could find nice, Christians and caring women. I also recommend to visit Rio for vacation first (20 to 30 days) before deciding to move there.
I believe that the American community in Rio is not very big due to the language barrier. Check these site for more information and help:
