I want to marry a brazilian girl I have met here in Australia At the moment she is married to a Brazilian but she is going back to brazil at the end of July08 to divorce him so she can come back here to wed I have all the paper work for her but when to comes to a birth certficate she tells ms that they do not have after they are married  can you please help me as she as only a short time here now before going back to Redencao Para Please help me Regards Eric

I am not a lawyer to provide legal advise and I would recommend her to contact a Brazilian consulate in Australia (http://www.brazilsydney.org/) or her birth place registration office for advise.

In Brazil, usually women change their last name (to the husband one) after getting married. If so, her birth certificate would be incorrect. I believe you need to wait for her divorce before proceeding with her paperwork.
