Hi i am a us citizen ,i want to live in rio with my wife who has dual citizenship.We want to take our jeep grand cherekee.it is a 1999 in exclellent condition.I whould wort taking, also what is the cost to convert the fuel system,or should we buy a 4by 4 in brazil. thank you .dan

Hello Dan,

The Brazilian laws make almost impossible to bring used cars to Brazil. Your only options are to buy a car in Brazil or import a new one (very expensive with all taxes).

Also, I don't believe that you would need a 4 by 4 if you live in Rio.
