Question
Hi,
I'm a UK citizen, planning to move back to Brasil after 8yrs of living in the UK,
I have a permanent residence visa for brasil. I'm trying to get information on
taking my 1966 vespa over with me. I've been told it's possible because of
the age, however the Consulado told me to follow a link for the receita
federal, which was impossible to get any info from. Any info or contacts
would be well appreciated.
Thank you for your time,
Mark.

Answer
You can import used goods like this, but Im not sure what the tax will be. The Brazilian IRS, Receita Federal, will have to let me know. Ill ask them and when I get an answer, will advise. Or you can just ask a Brazilian consulate and tell them you want to import used goods.  There will be a tax on it; just to know how much.
