Brazil/BRAZILIAN WORK VISA

Question
Hi there, I'm an Indian Mechanical Engineer with an experience in the middle east. I have some questions about working in Brazil. If one company in Brazil is willing to hire me, then what papers are 'm I supposed to submit at the embassy? Is it just a certificate on their letter head with seal, saying I've been hired for X years and Y salary? Or is there anything else, required? And is there? What about some processing fees to be payed at Indian embassy? A little on this topic would be much appreciated as I'm planning to take up my offer in Brazil by January 2010.

Answer
Hello Ajin,

I am not an expert on visa and work permission issues. My three recommendations are:

1. Visit the web site of the Brazilian Embassy in India for visa related information: http://www.brazilembassy.in/en/content/welcome

2. Contact a Brazilian consulate in India for more details: http://brazil.visahq.com/embassy/India/

3. If still having problems, hire an experiment lawyer on the subject

Good look!
