Question
sandra: we are moving to Salvador Bahia, with a 20Ft container (3 bedroom house).1-tell me about costume charges , or taxes for personal property or for a container (i have varied estimate from different companies , all of those said that custom liberation in Brazil is my problem), please feel free to elaborated

Answer
You should contract with a despachante to handle all aspects of getting your container through customs in the easiest, most efficient manner.
You have not mentioned under what circumstances you are moving. Under certain conditions, certain people (Brazilians moving back after a fixed time, or foreigners with permanencia, for example) have a right to bring in a given value without tax.
