We are a company in Canada and we are in the process of hiring a Brazilian in Sao Paulo and would like to find out what is the average salary and the average monthly car allowance or reimbursement of kilometer can we give to this new employee?

I don't know if there is an official value for car expenses reimbursement in Brazil.  I did a quick search on the web and found some typical values:

1) 25% of the cost of gasoline per kilometer
2) R$ 0,90 (ninety cents) per kilometer
