Hi Sandra, I was wondering about visiting Rio de Janeiro. What are some things you recomend seeing their Also how do people dress in Brazil. I dont wont too look like a tourist. Also when is the best time to visit? Thanks Zach.

A good intro site for Rio is www.ipanema.com  :Lots of info about sights, neighborhoods, beaches, clubs, etc.
Don't worry about how to dress. Just bring comfortable lightweight summer clothes and enjoy yourself. What ever you wear, your grooming and manner will give you away as non-Brazilian anyway. For Rio, anytime is a good time.
