Question
Hi! Your site is very informative. I am going to marry a
Brazilian next year and I am currently in my specialty
training in my country. We plan to settle in Brazil but my
problem is if I can have a job as a physician. I have read
some about document validation in University of Brasilia
needed to translate my documents/transcript/ diploma from
English to Portuguese.I hope you can give me information
about medical practice there and validations in Sao Luis,
Maranhao.Thank you!

Answer
Hello Alvin,

sorry, but I don't know a lot about diploma validation. Here are some suggestions that could help you:

1. Contact the Brazilian Embassy in your country:

2. Contact the regional medicine council in Maranhao (regulation entity):
http://www.portalmedico.org.br/novoportal/index5.asp?portal=MA

3. Contact the medical association in Maranhao:
http://www.sindmed-ma.org.br

4. Contact expatriates living in Brazil:
