Brazil/travel to Brazil

Question
Hi
My name is Cassandra Tenzer. I am a US Citizen with a valid Brazilian visa. I have traveled twice already. i was wondering it it is possible to gain entry into Brazil with a one way ticket. I have an extended vacation from my job and am not sure what exact date I want to return. I would like to travel to Brazil in June and purchase my return ticket there when I know I wish to return. It would cost me $350 dollars to change my ticket if I purchased a return ticket and chose to stay longer or return sooner which I prefer not to do. I am worried that with a one ticket I will not get through Brazil customs and into the country. Can you please let me know asap. My email address is

Thank you!

Answer
Hello Cassandra,

I am not an expert on visa issues. However, I think that you should not have any problem with a valid visa. You can contact a traveling agent or a Brazilian consulate for a more reliable response: http://www.brasilemb.org/index.php?Itemid=86&id=36&option=com_content&task=view

Good luck and have fun in Brazil!
