Question
Hello Sandra Hope this finds you well.

I am going to my nephews' wedding on January 8, 2011 in Paraty, Brazil. It is around 6:00pm. I was wondering as a female guest what is the latest fashion trends and etiquete for ages between 30-40?
I live in Miami, but have not been out much lately do to illness, and I have lost touch with the fashion and night life.

I truly would appreciate your help. Thank you kindly!

Answer
Hi Viviana.
Hope you are feeling better.
I think, since it is probably going to be very hot at that time, that you might want to pick the briefest cocktail dress you feel comfortable in and a nice pair of the highest heels you can walk in, with some dangly, sparkly earrings, and you will probably blend in with the rest of the women attending.
Paraty is wonderful. DO try to take a boat trip to see Trindade and some other beaches while you are there. Have a greao time.
