Brazil/Health Plans

Question
My son is currently living with his mother (my ex-wife), a Brazilian national, in Brazil. I want him to have the best health care possible. Does he need to have a health plan to do this or is the state funded health plan sufficient? If so do you know of any good plans? If necessary I would set it up from the UK.
Thanks in advance.

Answer
Hello Paul,

The state funded health program is free and provides good services. However, you can get much better and faster services with private health insurance. I recommend asking your ex-wife or somebody from her family to find a good insurance for your son.
