Question
i have girl friend in brasil and i would like to marry her .is there is any special visa for come to brasil for marriage?

Answer
If you are going to Brazil to marry your girlfriend there, you would go on a tourist visa.

However, there is a lot of paperwork that is required in advance of getting married. Ask your fiancee to get a list (preferably on paper, and with the name/signature of the person who she talks to, in order that opinions don't change--Also, each cartorio is an independent business, so requirements can differ slightly among them) at the cartorio which will handle the marriage. Your documents must be "recognized" at the Brazilian Consulate/Embassy that has jurisdiction over where you currently reside. Then, the documents must be translated by a certified translator in Brazil. When all the paperwork (yours and hers) is ready, your fiancee can take it to the cartorio and apply for a (civil) marriage date.

If you are unable to be in Brazil for the whole duration of the process, you might want to apply at the Brazilian Consulate for a "procuracao" giving your fiancee the legal right to act on your behalf if/when necessary during this process.

Congratulations on your marriage and best wishes for a happy life together.
