Question
Hi, I am a Canadian citizen and just got back from Sao Paulo, Brazil two days
ago. I stayed there for 5 months in the area of Jaguare. I loved my time in this
country and recently just got a job opportunity there as a designer. I want to
go back to live and build my life there with my boyfriend, which is Brazilian. I
wanted to know what visa I should have to apply for to go back also how
much it would cost to get a place of my own there?  And if you know any
cheap website for real estate.

Thank you

Answer
Hello Kathy,

Hello Peter,

I am not expert in legal issues. My recommendation is to contact the Brazilian Embassy in Canada (http://www.brasembottawa.org/).

The cost of living in Brazil depends a lot of the place location and your life style. You would at least 2K-3K Canadians dollars per month to have a reasonable life there.

Please contact your boyfriend in Brazil for more cost and real state information.

Good luck!
