Brazil/Work Permit without job offer

Question
Hi

My Husband is moving to Brazil for official work. He would be on temporary work permit(for 2 years).
I am an IT professional. Can I also get work permit without any job offer on the basis of his visa? Can his company sponsor me or provide me work permit without offering me job?

Thanks
Madhavi

Answer
Madhavi,

Unfortunately, I not an expert on visa issues. My recommendation is to contact a Brazilian embassy in your country:

You would also contact expatriates in Brazil to learn about their experience in obtaining a working visa:

Good luck!
