Question
«I believe that you could have a good life with US$1,500»

With or without lodging?

I'm looking for a place to stay during late april beginning of march, and place on the internet I should look? I want something around Praia Mole.

Thanks!

Answer
Hello Charles,

Things are not very cheap in Brazil anymore, but you can have some fun with US$1500.

The summer season is from December to you middle March and you will not find a lot of people, hotels and restaurants open, and night life in praia Mole in the other months. Also the water and weather are usually cold from May to September.

So, I recommend you to stay in downtown (first option), Lagoa da Conceicao or Canasveira and rent a car or take a bus to travel around the island.

Also remember, not many people can speak English in Brazil. So, it better to stay in a international hotel and maybe hire a local, English speaker guide.
