Question
Sandra, I have a bachelor's degree in Nursing from the U.S. How can my degree be recognized in Brazil if I decide to move back home. I am from Goiania, Goias but have leved in the U.S. for the past 25 years with 10 years in the nursing profession.

Thanks,

Delubio Rezende, RN BSN

Answer
Foreign degrees have to be evaluated and recognized by a public university  (ie. state, federal) that offers the exact same .
Also, I do understand you are probably wanting to move back to be with family, but do realize that you may find salary levels quite low in comparison to what you are used to in the U.S. and in relation to cost of living.
Best wishes for a happy future.
