Question
We'd like to go toward the West.  Is it better to contact an agent there or book from the US...Any contacts in the area?  Anywhere we can walk, boat and go on a catwalk in the canapy of the rainforest?

Answer
Im travelling.  There is one ecolodge in Manaus, tho Ive never been to it. I heard from good sources that it is very good. Do visit brazilmax.com for more info on Amazonas-Manaus travel. I would book in the US, where there is no language barrier. if you are fluent in Portuguese, then you can contact an agent here, or anywhere in Brazil for that matter.
