Question
Hi, I am planning to go to Brazil for a couple of weeks or more during a RTW trip in September. I had planned to go to Rio, Sao Paolo and somewhere called Fox Du .... I have no idea of the size of the country so it is hard for me to gauge travel times / methods. Can you advise and also perhaps some places to go in this region worth a couple of nights stayover?

Answer
Wow...Brazil is ENORMOUS, man.  Its at least as big as the continental US.  Now, Sao Paulo and Rio are an hour flight away, and Foz do Iguacu (your Fox Du...) is about 2 or 3 hours away from Sao Paulo.  If you like nature preserves and massive waterfalls, ranked a world historic landmark by the UN, then you should check it out.

Rio is way more touristy and attractive than Sao Paulo. Sao Paulo is a working city.  It's like New York and LA onlyl without the beaches and without Broadway.

Whats an RTW trip? Round the World?

I would need to know yoru age, and your interests, and how much you are willing to spend before I could make any decent recommendations.
