Question
Hello, I am traveling in Feb. to Brazil. What is the electric standard in Brazil? (Example the U.S. is 120vac 60hz outlets) I have a breathing mach. that i use at night and i'll need to get a adapter for it. Thank you for your time.

Answer
Hello Jim,

The outlets of most of states in Brazil are 110 VAC, 60 Hz (power systems built by American companies). But in some southern states the outlets are 220 VAC, 60 Hz (systems built by European countries). All outlets in Brazil require rounded plugs (not flat).

If you need more information, write me again.

Have a nice and safe trip.
