HI,
I would like to volunteer for about 2-3 months with  children in South America. I've searched the web but all the organizations I came across require an expensive fee (around 300$ per month). Do you know of an organization that demands a smaller fee?

Most organizations that work with children usually don't have a lot of money. The fees are usually needed to pay for your food, lodging and travel expenses.

You can also contact religious organizations in your area. Some of them have fee-free volunteer programs around the world.
