Answer
Hi Rohit,

Sao Paulo is one the most expensive cities in Brazil. However, you will find great night life and food there. There are restaurants and hotels for all budgets and since it is a enormous city, 3rd biggest in the world, making hard to pick one place to stay.

You will be able to eat decent food for US$30-35 a day. It can be cheaper than this if decided to buy some street food or fast food.
For hotels, it is better check with some travel agency India because prices vary a lot depending on season.

Places to see in Sao Paulo

MASP - Museum of Sao Paulo
Jardin Botanico - Botanic Garden
Vila Madalena - The famous neighborhood has great variety of bar and pubs. It is a must go.
Fogo de Chao Churrscaria - One of the best all you can eat barbecue restaurants in Brazil. Brazil is famous for its bbq restaurants
Museum of Modern Art - Showcase of Brazilian modern art
Ibirapuera Park - the biggest metropolitan park in Sao Paulo.

You can use public transportation to any where in Sao Paulo and there is also a good subway system.

Also try to visit the city of Rio de Janeiro. It is one of the most cities of Brazil and completely different from Sao Paulo. Air faire from Sao Paulo to Rio cost around US$180

I hope you have a great time in Brazil and discover its beautiful culture.

Flavio Melo
