Question
hi, ive already bought my ticket and i will be in brazil 2 weeks in febrero. i am waiting one more month before i apply for the visas since it must be used within 90 days. i have heard it is difficult for canadians to get brazilian visas, thats making me worried. is it? and is there anything i should do that will increase my chances of getting one? anything at all i should know? i am a student about to graduate.. and i will be visiting friends in floripa. thanks, Basil

Answer
Tourist visas are not hard to get.  Unless Canada has restrictions on Brazilian tourists then there is a possibility tht Brazil is returning the favor. I do not know and I would have to do homework to figure that out.

You will need a plane ticket or AT LEAST an itinerary.  Your travel agent can book you a trip without finalizing the flight payments, in case you dont get a visa, which is rare.  You will need to show them that round trip ticket, itinerary.

February will be a good time to be in Floripa. Are you going for Carnival?

In all honesty, I doubt you will have a problem.  Toursit visas are the easiest to getg.
