Question
just in case you did'nt receive my first email my last 4 attempts at making bread have produced pale blue dough with black thready bits.  I have been making bread (abm) for years and this is the first this has happened.  I have used a new bag of bread flour, new salt and new yeast.  I have scrubbed the abm bucket and dont know what else to do.  I waited the first time for your email as a receipt but did'nt receive it.  Please help.  Thank you

Answer
Shirley:
First of all the questions/answers are not emailed as they go through the website - though the site may send you an email notice if you request one, I believe. Secondly, I believe that I used an automatic response saying I do not understand the question. I have no idea what abm is, so I can't answer you. Please explain. Thank you!

Expertise

I can answer any questions about baking. The only thing I'm not too good at is baking pies, nor do I know much about high altitude baking.

Experience

I have been baking for over 30 years. One of my hobbies is creating recipes, most of those for baked goods. I made my own wedding cake. Currently I prefer to bake healthier things. I use a lot of whole wheat and other whole grain flours, and prefer to use less sugar or sugar substitutes in my baking. I do a lot with fruit.
