Question
My last question never got answered but now its beside the point. My gf and I of 6 months finally broke up and she was my first real gf. I put my heart into it and i loved her because she was absolutly everything i wanted in every apsect. now we're trying to remain friends but i don't know if i can handle it. What do I do?

Answer
Dear Mark,
It is extremely difficult to remain friends with someone soon after a breakup.  Usually you need to give the situation some time.  If the 2 of you were very close then eventually you will be friends, but this only happens after a good amount of time has passed and neither of the parties wants the other one back.  Good Luck and Warmest Wishes, Erica
