Expert: ***ERICA*** - 7/19/2008

Question
Ok I been datin my guy for a year and seven months. Well we been stugglein for the past 3 4 days and its been about a break. See I don't believe in breaks either we are together or not. Well he says he loves me and he cares about me he just wants to bew alone. Just have friends. ithen he says he can't take my bitching anymore. To be honest I bitch at him when he bitches at me. And like I can handle his shit itr don't eeally matter but when its me its to the point where he wants to break.he said that he wants a break for a fews days then everything will be ok but I talked to him last night and I said are we really breaking up and he said ya since a while ago. (The time of the break) so that just killed me. Here I am waiting to see him in the flesh wanting to fix the problem he does this.  Now my question be should I let go of every moment and stop the process of having more love from this wonderful man who doesn't wantr me so much. Or do stand up for myself and its love and try my hardesrt to get the love of my life stay and be in my life even if I have to force it?

Hi Nikki,
I would definitely just give him his space and let him go do whatever it is that he needs to do.  When we have to force something to happen we don't feel good about ourselves and the other person doesn't feel good about us.  Therefore, I would let things settle down and try to focus in on yourself.  If he really wants to be with you then he will be.  Let him have some time to miss you.  You have to create your own life though because if you don't you are going to be lost without him and that is even a worse feeling.  Good Luck and I hope this helps....
