I am 34 and the guy I was with for a little over a year is 29.  I had just gone through a separation and divorce from a 13 year marriage.  I know now that I should have taken more time to get over the end of my marriage even though I thought I would be ok since my husband and I both agreed at the time that the marriage wasn't working.  I met this guy and jumped right into a relationship.  I made many mistakes like becoming needy and dependant.  He made some too.  I am still in love with him.  Will he ever be back in my life?

I don't know if he will ever be back in your life, but here is a great new starting point for you to take some time for you and learn a lot about yourself.  Sometimes people just aren't compatible in a relationship and that is why they end.  It is natural to still be in love with him, but I don't know how he feels about you and don't want to give you false hope.  If you are needy and dependant than a great starting point is to get comfortable with you so that you can be independent and not needy.... that is real important.  Take care of you and only when you love yourself can you love someone else...
