THANK YOU VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE!! I AM SO STRESSED OUT..I MET A GREAT GUY, BUT VERY JEALOUS, SIX MONTHS AGO. THREE MONTHS INTO THE RELATIONSHIP I STARTED TO ADD ON AN ADDITION FOR MY MOM TO MOVE IN WITH ME..MY BOYFRIEND HAS HELPED ME SO MUCH THAT I FEEL I OWE HIM MY LIFE.I TELL HIM HE DOESN'T HAVE TO BUT HE CLAIMS HE LOVES ME SOO MUCH AND THAT SOMEDAY IT WILL BE HIS HOME TOO...WELL, AS TIME WENT ON HIS OBSESSION WITH MY PAST RELATIONSHIPS; WHO I WAS WITH, IF THEY WERE BETTER LOVERS, ETC., WAS DRIVING ME BONKERS..I TRIED TO BREAK UP WITH HIM AT LEAST FIVE TIMES BUT HE KEEPS SAYING, "WE ARE PERFECT TOGETHER," "I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT YOU, ETC.," AND I FEEL SO GUILTY THAT HE'S DONE SO MUCH FOR ME I GIVE IN..HE LIVES 300 HUNDRED MILES AWAY BUT WHEN I SAY I WANT OUT AND I'LL PAY HIM FOR ALL HIS WORK HE DRIVES UP LIKE IT'S NEXT DOOR..WHEN I TELL HIM I WANT A BREAK HE DRIVES RIGHT UP, ON A WORK NIGHT AND STAYS A FEW HOURS, AND GOES BACK..HE IS SO NEEDY..HE JUST LEFT TODAY AND I BET HE TOLD ME HE LOVED ME, AT LEAST, 100 TIMES IN 24 HOURS..NOW, MY QUESTION: HOW DO YOU BREAK UP WITH SOMEONE THAT LOVES YOU SO MUCH, BUT OH SO NEEDY, BUT ON THE OTHER HAND A GOOD PERSON THAT WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR YOU BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU..I TELL HIM HE WOULD BE BETTER OFF WITH SOMEONE ELSE THAT LIVES CLOSER BUT HE JUST GETS NEEDIER WHEN I SAY THAT..THE MORE I SAY I NEED A BREAK HE NEEDS TO BE WITH ME MORE..NO WAY WILL HE GIVE ME A BREAK..HE IS TOO NICE TO ME TO HURT HIM...PLEASE HELP!!

Wow... you are a great woman.... You can't stay in a relationship just because he is so wonderful to you. I would get an estimate of how much it would have cost to have had a contractor do the work..... make out a check... mail it to him... and break off the relationship. There is no way that you can live the way you are feeling the way that you do.... I just hope that you aren't going to regret it later on..... Take a break and tell him that if he doesn't respect your decision it is over for good that you will not take his calls, see him, or speak with him... See if this works and see how you feel.....
