Question Hi
I've been dating a girl for a month or so and now she wants to break up with me because she's afraid of falling in love with me too much, since i will be leaving the country at the end of the year, and so she would stay here by herself for another couple of months before returning to her country. I'm really fed up with this situation and I would really like to keep this relationship going.. any suggestions on how to handle this?
thx
Answer Dear Stefaan,
There isn't anything you can do to make someone be or stay with you. You can tell her how you feel and how much you care about her, but if she doesnt' want to stick it out ~ really not much you can do. Prior to telling her this... figure out a plan as to how to keep the relationship moving forward if the 2 of you are going to be in different countries.... If this will work for her and she is able to handle it = great...If not ... understand that some people just can't do "long distance." It has nothing to do with you... Good Luck
