well i have a new boyfriend and we have been together for 8 months but i still cant seem to let go of one of my ex boyfriend that i dated in 2007. we barley lasted a month and he had cheated on me and than left me to go with the girl he cheated on me with. and i just dont kno why i cant seem to let him go. we didnt do anything special. i just had my first kiss with him. how do i forget about him?

You my dear felt your first dose of rejection which hurts and makes us feel yucky. We start to wonder why they didn't want to be with us...why they wanted to be with the other person..etc. The truth is it probably has very little to do with him and a whole lot to do with the situation. If you can truly believe
and understand that people are just people and sometimes they don't do the right things rather then letting this be any reflection on you ~ you will feel a lot better. You also deserve to be with someone who doesn't demonstrate bad behavior ~ your first kiss is special but consider it practice for the better ones.
