My boyfriend and I just recently broke up, only three days ago. I've been absolutely miserable and his words keep running through my head. When he broke up with me he said  "you're more of my best friend than my girlfriend" and I'm not sure what he really meant by that. He hasn't really dated anyone before and I feel like maybe he just doesn't know how its supposed to feel because he also said it just doesn't feel the same as it did in the beginning. Do you think there could ever be anything between us again? Or know what he meant by those things?

Hi Sara,

When your boyfriend said that I think he meant he cares about you but doesn't have those strong feelings for you that people feel when they are in love. It sounds like he probably lost interest. Trust me if someone has strong feelings for you then they know it. If those feelings for you don't come back or develop then no there probably won't be a chance for you two, sorry.
