Question
I'm a mother of a two year old girl, her father an I have been together for three years. We live together, I'm not happy all we do is fight with words, we cant even talk without one of us getting mad. So my question is how do I break up with him? He's a good daddy but I tired of him in every way.

Answer
Dear Rachel,
If you are sure that you want to end the relationship you have to do it calmly, honestly, firmly, and nicely.  Explain to him that you are not happy, but that you want him to be in your daughter's life as much as he wants to be.  Explain why you aren't happy, but don't give him any false hope.  I know this is very scary for you because it's hard to be alone, but you do deserve to be happy.  A break may be good for the 2 of you.  Don't let him know that it is a break though because if you decide you are happier without him then he will have held on to false hope.  You have to be fair and give him the opportunity to move on with his life as well.  Set up a great visitation schedule and try to keep your conversations around your daughter.  I know this is hard, but you have to be strong and do it if you are miserable.  Good Luck
