Hi

I was reading and I think you can help me.

Me and my girlfriend and I was together for almost 3 years. When we first got together I told her that I did not want any kids until I was able to better take care of them or until I turn 26 or 28 years old. At that time she told me that she wanted to have a child before she was 23. At the time we started dating I had just turned 23 and she had just turned 21. But I guess we both thought that each other would change their mind about having kids. But to get to the point she broke up with me about 6mo ago and I'm still not over it yet because I loved her so much and still do. A friend told me that they seen her with another guy and when I heard that I was pissed, shocked, and heart broken. When she broke up with me she said it was because I did not want kids when she wanted them and because I old her some money. I cant belive she would bring up any money when she stayed with me and did not pay one bill and I did everything for her can you believe that. But for some reason I don't belive that is the true reason she broke up with me. She said she wanted to get married and I did to but I don't think she was really ready to take that step like she said she was. We use to be great together but I don't know what happen. I think it was her mother and friends who got to her mind because her mom did not like me for some reason. Her mom even made up stories about me that where not true. All I did was be good to this girl and she broke my heart. I worked heard everyday trying to accomplish my goals so that I can make a great life for use; I even tried to get her to finish school or get some kind of job but ever time I would bring school up she would get angry with me. I just wanted the best for use but it seemed like she just cared about having a baby. I want to have kids to but she don't hear or see that. All she care about is having them now she do not care about if we have enough money to take care of a family but I do. I told her that I don't want to be on government assistance. I don't know what to think or do help if you can.

It doesnt really matter why she broke up with you now. It is already over and she has obviously moved on. I know it sound very blunt and straight forward, but be glad it is over. You guys obviously didnt see eye to eye on a few things and her mother doesnt sound like she would be a very good mother in law for you. She would probably be one of those mother in laws that constantly started fights between the two of you. Just give it some time and dont search for the answers to why, or you will miss out of the true woman of your dreams!
