How to Breakup/Deal With Break Ups/Breakup

QuestionI was going with my girlfriend for 3 years and while it wasn't always easy going we had some good times and she loved me completely. Now she's recently moved 140 miles away and has broken up with me. But the way she did it is what hurts. First of all she wasn't even going to tell me she just hoped that I'd get the idea when she said she was too busy to call or text. She seems to be completely unmoved even though I wrote her a love letter and even a poem. She now says she doesn't want a repeat of the downs of our relationship even though I told her these are things that can be worked on. The situation just doesn't seem to phase her at all! How can someone who loved me so much for 3 years just seem to turn off her emotions like a switch?
AnswerOh how I hate it when an ex can just turn their emotions off like a switch when they were so in love for so long...
Been there, and it HURTS....
Thing is most likely she's just acting like she is moving on..I found out later after my ex and I broke up and he was acting all cool and uncaring, that he really was suffering, he just didn't show it.
People don't just go from loving someone to not in a few days, its impossible, well maybe not impossible but chances are good she's not over you that fast.
She probably just decided this relationship won't work and is dealing with it in her own way..and doesn't feel the need to show her emotions.
I think its immature and mean of her to have tried to break up with you by not telling you...but whats done is done and she sounds content with her decision.
Good luck...Julie
