Hi....i'm a 34 year old Mom of 2 kids and recently my finacee and I split up much to my shock.  Yadda yadda, long story short, there was no major issue when we split and he made the call after i offered the out,,,,,suddenly since he did he has become the HUGEST jerk i ever knew! A grown man acting like he's 10 ok!!  
I want to know WHY they do that, it seems a pattern in the past with this if i would tell him "hey, that hurt my feelings" he'd go RIGHT into A-hole mode.  
What is the dealio with that?

Yep my ex was like that too. They hate taking any responsibility for any wrong doing on their part. God forbid they do/ say anything wrong! The thing is they like to blame shift, its never their fault, if anything goes wrong, its all someone elses fault. I bet he was also good with turning things around on you..like your too sensitive or you took things the wrong way, or you can't take a joke.

And usually its the same if they don't get their way, they throw temper tantrums. These guys are spoiled brats who are used to getting their way, and if they don't..they have their temper tantrums because its worked for them in the past.

They don't like to own up to anything they do or say wrong..
Your most likely better off without this guy, sounds like a jerk..
