QuestionMy girlfriend of 6 months told me last week that she wanted to take a break. the thing i dont get is the one morning she sends me a text message and it said that she was really excited that our vacation was only one month away then later that night she breaks up with me. i think her parents had something to do with it though. she said that there is to much stuff goin on in her life like she is goin to school in a month she had me and she was goin to move out of her parents house to live across the street from me and she works over 40 hrs. a week. i know thats alot of stuff. but what i cant get over is that she said she still loves me and she wont even talk to me now. im letting her have her space and not talking to her. so should i wait for a little bit or just move on?
AnswerThats tough!! Usually when people say they need their space, they really want to break up unfortunatly. I've been on both sides of the fence there. Its hard, but one thing, don't try to get a hold of her, wait for her to contact you.
As for what you should do..about waiting or moving on, do what feels best for you. I wouldn't put my life on hold though. Go out, have fun, meet new people and whatever happens, happens.
If she decides she wants you back by then and you still feel the same way, then great!
If you put your life on hold waiting for her, only to find out she's already moved on, then your going to have to start over with the grieving process.
And you don't want to do that...usually waiting around is just asking for more pain in case it doesn't work out.
Good luck...!
