Question
I'm 36 and had a mammogram in December of 2007 and it came back abnormal with masses in both breast,My mom pass away with breast cancer at the age of 52 ,my ultrasound also came back with masses in both breast you cant fell the mass but they are deep in the breast my doctor wants to wait for 6 months but i want to have it done before then should i tell the doctor that i don't want to wait .I have had a discharge from my breast and sometimes its bloody and i get sores on my breast the doctor said my nipples are inverted but i cant get them to tell me what they thank is going on can you please help me with this ..Thank You Jenny

With a family history of breast cancer I do not think you should wait. Insist on 1. An MRI scan of your breasts! 2. Needle biopsies of your breast masses (either stereotactically, or by palpation or by ultrasound or MRI guidance)! That way you do not need to wait but can get the results quickly and we will know what this is! It may not be dangerous but then we will KNOW that!
