Question
lumpectomy & removal of auxillary glands are done from right breast with prognosis as T2-N0-M0.following were chemotherapy & radiotherapy.mammography reveals discrete lymph nodes in left axilla.USG reveals fatty liver& Fibroid ovary. No other abnormality noticed. Please suggest whether things are within normal limits.patient is under regular oral Tamoxifen twice daily.doctors say prognosis is good. please let us know the chances of recurrence.

Answer
Yes these findings are within normal range after what has happened. At present no reason for alarm. An educated guess (statistics is for vast numbers of cases, should not really be used in a single case like this) is a cure chance of at least 75-80% maybe more!
