Question
i went to have my annual mammogram done and was told that i had to come back they did a 2nd view of the right breast and are now saying cluster of microcacifications 4.5mm and that further evaluation confims intramammary lymph node the tiny cluster reveals mild pleomorphism and that there is a solid hypoechoic mass
what does all this mean i am scheduled to have a stereotatic biopsy on friday and i am worried sick

Answer
Well if it has been classified as a BI RAD 4 that means that your cancer risk here is quite real - but not a certainty. So your stereotactic biopsy is a NECESSITY in order to KNOW what it is you have there! It is better than to go directly to any surgery because maybe surgery can be avoided if not necessary and even if necessary you will know what is being operated and can conduct the surgery accordingly. Good luck!
