Breast Cancer/cancer mets

Question
I am almost 1 year out of R. breast cancer tx. (lumpectomy, rad., & chemo.)  It is triple neg.  ( I was 37 at dx.) How usual is it for breast cancer to have distant mets and not show anything on mamo?  I have had roaming bone pain in left shoulder, right thigh, and currently right calf area.  Should I mention this to dr. or just wait for follow-up in June?  No other symptoms - well slight r hand / finger numbness - but I think this is due to an injury from January :-)

Answer
On principle you SHOULD mention any and every new symptom to your dr - otherwise how would your dr. know about it? If I were your dr. I would order x-ray pictures, MRI scans, PET-scans and other isotope scans of your skeleton. If there are no signs of anything suspicious in those places your symptoms must have another reason. Good luck!
