Breast Cancer/Large (size of ping-pong balls) lumps in both breast.

Question
I am a 38yr. old female and I have several large lumps (size of ping-pong balls) in both breast.  I can isolate them between my fingers and when I squeeze them together they kind of "crunch" and seem to break apart a little. Also, I do have a little bit of a thick discharge from my nipples. What could it be and what should I do, I do not have health insurance.

Answer
First of all I'm a Swedish M.D. & cancer specialist, living in Sweden. That makes it more or less impossible for me to tell you what can be done without health insurance where you are - wherever that may be. I'll have to concentrate on what SHOULD be done.
To check this you need to have mammography of both breasts and ultrasound & MRI breast scans of both breasts and needle biopsies of any unclear breast lesions. With that it can be found out with a high degree of certainty what this is and if anything more needs to be done - and if so what. Please do keep me posted!
