Question
i am a breast cancer survivor of 6 1/2 yrs. which breast cancer was in the form of a 1 cm lump.  my breast are both filled with clusters of calcifications, 6 of which were biopsied over the years, one even being in a suspicious linear patter.  all calcifications have been benign.  i am now facing another cluster on my last mammo this week.  do you think i am safe to wait 6 months for a follow up or do you suggest yet another biospy.  im getting a little frustrated and feel i would like to wait for another mammo instead.

With all these calcifications your mammographies should be complemented with MRI breast scans in order to get more information of your breast condition. In this particular case I also think that this new cluster should be checked with a needle biopsy so that we will know what it is! Good luck!
