Breast Cancer/asymmetric breast density

Question
I am scheduled for follow-up evaluation/tests tomorrow after receiving an abnormal mammogram result which indicated asymmetric breast density in the left breast with no calcificatiom and no architecture distortion.  How worried should I be and what kinds of tests will they likely perform? THANK YOU!

Answer
This only means that it does not look the same in the 2 sides of the breast. If necessary a stereotactic needle biopsy should be able to tell what it is. An MRI breast scan may also be of value. If in your shoes I would not be too worried as this may have many causes, most unrelated to cancer, but of course I can not guarantee anything!
