Question
I have held a lot about breat cancer, my question is how can one be infected with Breast Cancer, and what are the symptoms of breast Cancer

Answer
Breast cancer is not an infection. If you get it you develop it over time (takes actually quite some time). The older you get the higher the risk - like with most cancers. There are certain genetic factors involved so if you have it in your family you usually are at a higher risk. There are environmental risks too. So if you have or have had some female hormone medications - usually stronger than the pill - you may be at a higher risk. The higher your body weight and the taller you are the higher the risk. The earlier you started to menstruate and the later you stopped doing it the higher the risk. If you have not had any or few children your risk is higher. The later you had your first child the higher the risk. If you never breast fed your children your risk is higher. The cardinal symptom is a lump in your breast somewhere. But you can find it much earlier if you undergo regular mammography. Good luck!
