Breast Cancer - Breast?

Expert: Claes-Gustaf Nordquist, M.D. - 10/8/2009

Question
Hi there! I don't have breast cancer or anything and have never been diagnosed and I'm not and never have been pregnant but within the last several months, I've been getting burning/stinging sensations in my right breast and I don't understand what it could be... Is that normal or...?

Answer
Well how old are you? Such sensations are not uncommon in women that are still menstruating and they have usually nothing to do with breast cancer. Early breast cancer only rarely gives any kind of similar symptoms. But to be on the safe side you even so should let a dr. check you.
