Breast Cancer - Caffeine and breast cancer
Expert: Claes-Gustaf Nordquist, M.D. - 10/26/2009
Question Hello. I've been doing research on fibrocystic breast and breast cancer and how caffeine affects the likelihood of getting it. Everything online is inconclusive. In some studies it may increase, in other it may decreases your risk. Is there an amount that you should stay away from? It is safe in low amounts? I know fibrocystic breast isn't your specialty, but if you could help in anyway that'd be great.
Answer They are indeed inconclusive! So NO conclusions can be made from them at all! I refuse to give any advice on the subject but see no reason - with regards to this subject - why you can not drink beverages with caffeine if you want to in any amount you want to. Good luck & Cheers!
