Question
Hello, I am a 20 year old female. my family has a wide history of cancers of all types. i have for the last few months felt very tired, and weak and low energy. I was sick for an entire month and just got over it a few weeks ago. i just woke up the other day and discovered a lump in my armpit. when i put my arm down by my side it is a bit painful. i have a feeling it is a gland issue because when i try to feel it sometimes it moves under the muscle and i cant feel it anymore. it hurts to touch. i have also been experiencing constant pain in my lower abdomen. it hurts to touch my abdomen at all. b/m and passing gas don't help at all, i don't feel bloated, but i feel sick when i eat. I was already a skinny person and now i have a very hard time eating and I'm scared cause I'm loosing weight i cant afford to loose. please help!

Answer
Since the lump in your armpit seems to be tender, sore & painful it probably has to do with an infection/inflammation and may be related to a lymph node. Without an examination it is impossible to evaluate your other issues in any way. I do suggest that you should let your dr. examine you thoroughly soonest! Good luck!
