I had a diagnostic mammo & US this week The report reads "On exaggerated CC projection of the left breast, in the tail region adjacent to the chest wall, there is a small nodule that has a slightly lobular contour.  Its margins are well circumscribed.  It has a questionable fatty hilus.  I suspect it reflects a small lymph node.  A palpable abnormality at the 2 o'clock position, zone C corresponds to a tiny anechoic mass that exhibits very good transmission (corresponds to a small cyst).  It is smoothly marginated & measures 7x9x3 mm.  At the 12 o'clock position within the left breast, there is an oval, hypoechoic nodule exhibiting very good through transmission.  It is smoothly marginated.  Its long axis parallels that of adjacent breast tissue.  It measures 7x8x3mm(likely reflects a tiny fibroadenoma or lymph node).  Recommend followup left breast diagnostic maamo & ultrasound in 6 mos. in order to confirm the stability of these findings.  Bi Rads:  Category 3.
I'm a bit uncomfortable waiting 6 mos to check again-would it be ridiculous to request a biopsy now?  I don't have insurance, but there is a program in my state that automatically provides diagnosis & treatment of breast cancer.  I don't want them sitting on this because I don't have health insurance.  I'm scared.

From the description these lesions do look benign and not dangerous. However if you want to be as sure as possible I do think that ultrasound guided needle biopsies could help you with that. Good luck!
