Question
will medicaid cover reconstruction - i have alreay been treated for the cancer - am just now applying to medicaid - will they cover?

Answer
Stephanie,

yes, medicaid pays for breast reconstruction. However, to my knowledge it won't cover procedures on the other breast for symmetry. If you need something done to your other breast (like a reduction or a lift for example), you may have to pay for it out of your own pocket.
