Breast Cancer/Punctate Calcifications

Question
I had my annual mammogram on Saturday and had to go back today for more images because they saw something.  3 images later today I was told they look like a group of 3 to 5 calcifications but with a family history of breast cancer (cousin & aunt who passed from it), I should be seen in 6 months.  Should I insist on an ultrasound or wait?

Answer
In order not to have to wait, which really is unnecessary, you should insist on (read DEMAND!) an ultrasound breast scan AND an MRI breast scan AND a needle biopsy of your lesion (can be done stereotactically based on what is seen in your mammograms!). Good luck!
